| Waterfront | It’s a fantastic piece of land-very flat, small beach and it’s 200 feet wide so you have lots of waterfront and a dock for your boat. There is a sand beach that gradually wades in an is excellent for toddlers. Kids will enjoy snorkeling and fishing right off the dock. About chest level (adult) there is a drop off perfect for diving in (right about the time it gets “soft” under your feet)-please note there is a current. The swimming area is about 100 feet wide, but the full grass yard is 200 ft wide |

Twin Pines cottage is located only 1.5-2 hours from Toronto (1 hr from Durham region) and is a great family retreat. It’s a fantastic piece of land-very flat, small beach and it’s 200 feet wide so you have lots of waterfront and a dock for your boat. Large mature trees and large well maintained area for playing. There is fantastic fishing in our lake (muskey, walleye and sml/lg mouth bass) and the water is very calm due to a 10k boat speed in front of our cottage. Enjoy the tranquil nature of the area where Grey/Blue Herons and loons come right up to the rock ledge (non beach). It is situated at the north end of Shadow Lake and sits on the end of peninsula (hence the river-like setting), but enlarges to the lake to the east of us plus you get views of the water from both N/S sides of the cottage (no one is behind us). Shadow and Silver Lakes connect right down to Coboconk so you can have a leisurely boat/seadoo ride down to Coby for a meal and some shopping.This four season cottage is decorated in a fresh white Cape Cod/beach style with a fully stocked kitchen for year round living. A wall of windows and lots of space to enjoy gorgeous views overlooking the clean clear lake. Recently renovated with new floors and bathroom and furnishings throughout the cottage. Enjoy the lovely fireplace and a large screen TV for those cool evenings plus shelves full of games, books, magazines and lots of movies. All rooms have electric baseboards plus you can heat with the fireplace if you need to.

Each weekly rental will include one full tank of propane for the BBQ.
Renters are required to bring own linens (owners supply blankets and pillows), drinking water and food including condiments.

- Check in is 3pm and check out is 11am (unless otherwise stated in cottage description)
- Peak season (summer) rentals must be a minimum of seven days from Saturday to Saturday
