Cottage Rental Mississippi Lake Eastern Ontario Canada
This cottage is on the shore of Mississippi’s Big lake. By boat one can travel to Carleton Place in an hour. Facing the south west means the beach gets sun all day long and the shallow, sloping, sandy bottom is ideal for young swimmers.
This four bedroom bungalow has a large eat-in kitchen, an ample living room with wood burning stove and a giant deck that gets sun morning to evening. The large, gently sloping yard is perfect for badminton, ultimate or touch football.
Beck’s shore road makes a 2 mile loop with the Red Rock Bay road. This is perfect for bike rides and long walks taking you past the lake, beside a marsh and through mixed softwood forest abundant with birds, deer and small animals.
For fishermen, the cottage is situated near two shoals where smallmouth bass collect. You are a short boat ride from a great submerged weed bed towards the western shore where Walleye school. From the deck looking toward the setting sun you can see the mouth of the Missippi river. From here to the Innisville bridge Pike and Largemouth Bass are abundant.
Each weekly rental will include one full tank of propane for the BBQ. Renters are required to bring own linens (owners supply blankets and pillows), drinking water and food including condiments.
